It looks like something Dr. Wily would design if you tasked him with building an LMP1 Hammerhead Shark with the sole purpose of defeating Mega Man on the racetrack.
I'm normally a Porsche fanboy of sorts but I would be pleased if Toyota were to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year with this anime villainmobile.

Maybe it has something to so with the current regulations? Kind of like the weird noses on this season's Grand Prix cars.

If Audi wins, great.
If Porsche wins, great.
If Toyota wins, great.
No one really loses. We all win.

I'm looking forward to how this tech will trickle down for the sports cars of the future, it Audi, Porsche or Toyota so yeah, we all win there.

Considering Wily's nomenclature patterns it would carry the striking name of... Le Man!

It doesn't fit with our layman's idea of aero which is derived entirely from observing what was done in the past. We don't get it because it's next level (oh god I had this same conversation when high-nose F1s came in back in 1649 or whenever).
(apologies if you're actually an, an uh aeromancer or whatever these people are called and you're correctly calling Toyota's design team on a bullshit design)
